health overview: why you matter more than you think you do

Life is not all doom and gloom. Nor is life a constant existential crisis. Every day, we are faced with making thousands of decisions. What to eat, what to wear, what to drink, where to turn, what to watch, when to go to sleep, who to call for advice, what music to listen to. The decisions go on and on.

But how you treat yourself inside your mind in all of your decision-making. will determine whether you hate the world or whether you love the world because you’re living inside of the world.

If you do not love yourself. If you do not know yourself. If you hate yourself. If you hate other people. If you judge other people. If you carry burdens. If you cling to hatred. If you watch too much news. If you scroll too much. If you believe the government is out to get you. If you hate the police. If you hate your neighbor. If you live in a constant state of nihilism. How will this get you closer to achieving a life worth living?

We must become the person we want to see in the world so that we can make the world a better place.

Blaming the government, or the Illuminati, or some group or race or tribe or religion, will do nothing for you.

We are not meant to be gods. We are meant to be human beings. Part of being human is recognizing the uniqueness, imperfections, and creativity that define each of us.

All in part because of our experiences, our mistakes, our regrets, our pasts, and all the beauty and struggle mixed together like peanut butter and jelly.

How many groups are trying to achieve this facade of perfection? Yet how many people do you know who are actually perfect?

Without all our experiences, whether good or bad, who would we be?

Do we possibly think that the wealthy live perfect lives?

I hope not.

These thought patterns will eventually lead you down a path of negativity, suicidal thoughts, and impulsive behavior. Misery loves company. But just because that is so does not mean you have to join in with that company.

You must love yourself, and loving yourself begins with forgiveness. Forgive yourself for not being perfect. Forgive yourself for your mistakes and your flaws.

The moment we stop chasing perfection, the moment we stop trying to be gods, is the moment your life changes for the better and you realize just how much of a human you really are.

Beating yourself up over a mistake won’t achieve anything.

You matter. We matter. Together we make matter.

Only you can prevent yourself from making matters worse.

That begins with how you take care of your health.
