[Metaphor/Analogy] Ever since the days of Aristotle and Plato’s Cave, humans have quarreled over just about everything. Bring 100 people into a room and they’ll argue over the color of the sky, diets, sports, gossip, politics, religion, philosophy, gender, and sexuality.
[Opinion] We at I Am Humans have felt this same tide—whether in conversations with friends, neighbors, or at the dinner table. Worldly matters are a common topic, but we believe every human must choose their battles. Not every headline or debate deserves our energy.
[Fact] Mental health is foundational to overall well-being. Chronic stress, anxiety, and depression can affect physical health, relationships, and productivity.

[Opinion] Our research and experience suggest that politics and religious disputes often divide rather than unite. We believe that regardless of appearance or belief, we are all part of the same human race.
[Metaphor/Analogy] We’ve come close to believing that everything revolves around pain. But instead of weaponizing it, we’ve chosen forgiveness. We grew tired of blaming institutions, celebrities, and our upbringing. We decided to stop pointing fingers and start healing.
[Fact] Adults have agency over many aspects of their lives—diet, relationships, finances, and media consumption. These choices influence mental and physical health.
[Opinion] We try to mitigate our news consumption and try not to absorb or get lost in the political drama. At times, we may check in with the news, but we understand when to turn it off. For us, forgiveness and detachment from toxic narratives are better for mental clarity.
[Fact] Excessive news consumption, especially negative or sensationalist content, has been linked to increased anxiety and stress. For example, research shows that constantly checking news updates (also known as “doomscrolling”) is correlated with higher stress levels.
[Opinion] Watching the news does little for our mental health. Internet comments may amuse, but they often distract or distress. Why let strangers on screens dictate our mood?
[Fact] Financial literacy—including understanding compound interest and diversified investments—is essential for long-term stability. For example, money saved and invested early—even small amounts—can potentially grow by 5-10% annually over decades, dramatically impacting long-term stability. However, choosing simplicity (e.g., savings accounts) is a valid personal choice.
[Opinion] We prioritize family, friends, food, water, shelter, clothing, and health care over financial speculation. Call us old-fashioned—that’s okay.
[Fact] Discrimination based on race, gender, or lifestyle is harmful and unjust. Inclusion and respect improve social cohesion and mental health.
[Opinion] We refuse to define ourselves by labels or judge others for how they live, dress, eat, or express themselves. We simply exist.
[Fact] Human history is filled with conflict, growth, and transformation. Studying it helps us understand patterns in behavior, economics, and relationships.
[Opinion] Life is what you make it. Whether you choose love or hate, peace or conflict, is up to you.
[Metaphor/Analogy] If you sow hatred, your world will reflect it. If you sow love, love will grow. These are seeds we plant daily.
[Fact] Choices around relationships, spending, and health behaviors (e.g., diet, exercise) directly affect well-being.
[Opinion] We’ve tried to solve others’ problems, but we’ve learned that people thrive when they solve their own. We’ll guide those who seek help, but we won’t overextend.
[Fact] Setting boundaries and focusing on what we can control is a key principle in mental health and resilience.

[Opinion] We will not be consumed by politics, religion, or the chaos of the world. We are I Am Humans by Artes Enterprise. We commit to becoming the best versions of ourselves—for those we love and for each other.
